Introduction
Exclusiv Safaris is a family-owned tour operator specialising in tailor-made tours, tours for small groups of 4-12 persons, as well as for larger groups on requests. We offer a variety of tours: from short safaris to the Kruger National Park, to extended tours throughout South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. During the past 21 years our tours have become well known and popular because of the personal way in which we operate, treating each member of the group as our special guest. We meet them personally on arrival at the airport, accompany them expertly and safely from day one throughout the tour until we bid them farewell at the airport on the last day - more often than not, friends for a lifetime.

Recently we have expanded into the Swedish market and also formed a joint venture with the South African inbound tour operator Around Africa, for the past 17 years wellknown in the French tourist market

Our guests travel comfortably in luxury, airconditioned microbuses or luxury coaches. Another unique characteristic of our tours is the fact that because of the small groups, we are able to stay in 3-4 star owner-run guesthouses and small lodges instead of in the more impersonal hotels. In this way our guests meet and interact personally with a variety of South Africans, Namibians and the other countries that we visit, enjoying the warm hospitality for which Southern Africa is well known.

Who are we?
Exclusiv Safaris was founded 21 years ago by the Dutch/South African Van Nieuwkerk family.
It is still family-owned and run by Henk and Corrie, son Chris and daughter Linda. A team of hand picked, specialist guides, each one specially chosen because they fit very well into the unique way in which we operate, complements us. Together we form a dedicated team of enthusiastic South Africans with a vast, intimate knowledge of our country, its history and diversity of cultures, abundant wildlife and breathtaking beauty of nature.

Since its foundation, Exclusiv Safaris is a member of SATSA (Southern Africa Tourism Services Association) and as such complies with all legal requirements regarding tourism in South Africa. All necessary permits for local as well as cross-border travel are in place and we keep our late-model vehicles in spotless condition. In respect of accident and passenger liability insurance we comply with all the compulsory regulations, and our vehicles are insured for far more than is prescribed by law.

As far as financial matters are concerned, we have an excellent record and are well known for our sound financial management - proof of which is our longstanding relationship with several overseas touroperaters and local members of the tourism industry.
